Two men that led Beaumont police on a chase yesterday are jailed. Officers attempted to make a traffic
stop on I-10, near Major, when the driver sped off. A bag containing instruments used in auto thefts was
tossed from the vehicle during the chase. The two bailed out of the vehicle and were eventually caught
following a foot pursuit. 19-year old Troy Willis, of Louisiana, and 20-year old Anthony Curtis, from
California, were arrested. They are facing multiple charges. The car they were in was reported stolen in
Louisiana.
