Beaumont police are investigating a homicide and two aggravated assaults. Three people were shot
Saturday night in the 6500 block of Bigner during a trial ride attended by around 1,000 people. One
victim died, one was transported to the hospital by EMS, a third arrived at the hospital by private
vehicle. Police had to work their way through the crowd of people and carry the victims to an
awaiting ambulance.
