No change in the price of a gallon of gas in the Beaumont/Port Arthur area over the past week. This
morning’s average price is $2.61. A year ago we were paying $2.93. The statewide average stayed at
$2.67 a gallon. The national average for a gallon of gas is $3.08. These averages are from Triple A
Texas.
