A former City Council candidate in the Chambers County town of Beach City is in custody and accused of
election fraud.Deputies arrested 29-year-old Kyle Diamond on Thursday. The sheriff's office says several
Beach City residents complained in late October that somebody had put an official-looking document in
their mailboxes that said the upcoming election had been canceled. Deputies identified Diamond as the
suspect from home security videos and emails. They reportedly caught him with opponents' stolen
campaign signs.
