Gas prices are up from last week. This morning’s average price for a gallon in the Beaumont/Port Arthur
area is $2.65 a gallon, up four cents from last week. Last year on the 26th of January we were paying
$3.07 a gallon. Triple A Texas is reporting the statewide average jumped eight cents to $2.75 a gallon.
The national average is $3.10, that is up two cents from last week.
