A Beaumont man that shot his female passenger in a moving vehicle on I-10 in 2022 has been sentenced
to 40 years in prison. 46-year old Recarido Antonio Terrell also shot at her after she jumped from the
vehicle. He was arrested outside the victim’s burning home. Terrell, who must serve at least half of the
sentence before he is eligible for parole, was sentenced this week by a Jefferson County jury.
