A Port Arthur man has been sentenced to more than five years in federal prison for being a felon in
possession of a firearm. 42-year old DeShawn Randall Willis was arrested after a loaded pistol was
found in the vehicle. Willis, a six time convicted felon, is prohibited from owning a firearm. He pleaded
guilty in May of last year and was sentenced to 63 months yesterday by U.S. District Judge Marcia
Crone.
