A Port Athur man convicted of murder has been sentenced to 22 years in prison. 25-year old Ronald
Babino is on his way to prison for the March 2022 shooting death of 31-year old Richard Shillow at
the Virginia Estates Apartments in Beaumont. Babino, who was convicted last week, was not the
gunman, but was took part in the crime. He was sentenced yesterday.
