Several area school districts will be closed today. Those districts include Silsbee, Lumberton, Little
Cypress-Mauriceville, Hardin-Jefferson, Kountze , Evadale, Vidor and West Orange-Cove. Groves Middle
School will not have school today. All other PNGISD campuses will have a normal schedule. Numerous
other districts will have delayed starts. You can check your district’s social media page for updates.
Lamar University in Beaumont and Lamar State College in Orange are delayed until 10:00.
