Looking at some of the results from Saturday’s municipal elections, voters in the West Orange-Cove
and Evadale school districts passed school bond issues while Deweyville voters rejected a school bond
issue. David Rutledge won the mayor’s race in Bridge City and Bruce Robinson won mayor in Sour Lake.
Dianne Brown, Taylor Getwood, and Brandon Bartie won the at-large seats on the Port Arthur school
board.
