A house fire in Port Neches has claimed the life of a 60-year old woman. This morning’s fire
was in the 700 block of Grigsby. The victim’s son pulled her from the home. He sustained
burns to his hands. The woman was transported to the hospital where she died. Two others
that were in the home, including a 5-year old boy, were able to get out of the home.
