A Beaumont woman who pleaded guilty to three counts of aggravated assault in connection for a
drive-by shooting has been sentenced to eight years in prison. 21-year old Marhagane Broussard
appeared in front of Judge John Stevens yesterday for the September 2023 drive-by shooting that
occurred in the 2500 block of Pine Street in Beaumont. She was sentenced to eight years for each
count. The sentences will run concurrently.
