Two are dead following a fiery crash in Jefferson County. It happened just before 3:00 this morning
on Highway 69, near the Jefferson County Correctional Facility. According to the report a pickup was
traveling the wrong way in the northbound lane striking an oncoming car. Both vehicles caught fire.
Both occupants in the car died at the scene. The driver of the pickup was taken to the hospital.No other
information is available at this time.
