Texans who sustained losses from flooding from the storms in late April through early June have
less than a month to apply for federal assistance the deadline is July 16th. FEMA is helping nearly
53,000 Texas households with more that $110 million in financial assistance in 35 Texas counties.
Those counties include Hardin, Jasper, Newton, Liberty, and Polk counties. The disaster recovery
Centers will be closed tomorrow for Juneteenth.
