Late Saturday night, Beaumont police attempted to stop a car on multiple traffic violations. The
driver sped off and crashed in the 3000 block of Hollywood. Two juveniles exited the vehicle that
then burst into flames. A 16-year old male was transported to the Minnie Rogers Juvenile Detention
Center. A 15-year old girl was released to her parents.
