A $2.3 million dollar bond has been on a Beaumont man charged with murder and aggravated
assault. 41-year old Howard Celestine is charged with yesterday morning’s stabbing death of
his girlfriend, 61-year old Lizzie Odom in the 1600 block of East Lucas. Police say he then drove
to his ex-girlfriend’s house and crashed his car into her house attempting to kill her. Celestine is
in the Jefferson County Jai.
