A Kirbyville man has been sentenced to 20 years in prison for manslaughter. During day two of his
trial yesterday in Jasper County, 26-year old Jadarian Lee pleaded guilty to the March 2023 shooting
death of Chase Butler. The homicide occurred at a home off of 420 near Kirbyville. He was
sentenced to 16 years for the manslaughter and four years for a possession of a firearm charge.
The sentences will run consecutively
