A Nederland man faces up to 20 years in federal prison after pleading guilty to robbing the
Speedway gas station in the 2700 block of Eastex Freeway in Beaumont. On January 16th, 53-
year old Tarrell Dowlin Nowland walked into the store, pulled a gun, and robbed the clerk. An
investigation identified Nowland as the robber. He will be sentenced later this year.
