Beryl is getting better defined on satellite this morning and we'll know more about its intensity shortly as Air Force recon is approaching the center.
Movement is to the northwest at about 12 mph with a gradual turn to the north before landfall near Port Lavaca between around 1-3 a.m. Monday morning. A turn to the north-northeast will move the center to near College Station by 1 p.m. Monday and to near Little Rock by 1 p.m. Tuesday.
With the improved appearance, Beryl will likely become a CAT1 hurricane later today but will quickly diminish in intensity during the day Monday after landfall.
