San Antonio police are investigating the shooting death of a Jasper High School Volleyball and track coach. 29-year old Ayden Burt was on the patio of the Smoke Skybar, with her back to I-37, when she was shot. She was attending an event when the shooting occurred. She died at a hospital. According the school district’s Facebook page, Burt had been with the district since 2019 teaching English at the high school.
