The annual Back-to-School sales tax holiday is this weekend in Texas. All sales taxes will be waived on a wide variety of school supplies and clothing beginning Friday through Sunday night. The items that are on the list must cost under 100-dollars, and the waiver applies whether the item is purchased at a store or online. If you make an online purchase, officials say to be sure to factor in any delivery, shipping and handling, or transportation charges as those fees are incorporated into the item's final sales price. There's a complete list of items that qualify for the break at the State Comptroller's website. Visit comptroller-dot-texas-dot-gov.
