Gas Line Burns In Deer Park

(Deer Park, TX) -- An above-ground natural gas pipeline in Deer Park, which exploded after behind hit by a truck, is still burning. Crews capped the valve yesterday but there is still product inside that needs to flame out. Evacuation orders in the towns of Deer Park and LaPorte are still in place. That pipeline was near a neighborhood and at least five homes were damaged by the flames. Investigators said in a late-night statement that they do not believe the crash was an act of terrorism and called it an "isolated incident."
