A Beaumont man is heading to prison for 35 years after pleading guilty to murder. Charles Verdine is one of three that were involved in the March 2022 shooting death of 31-year old Richard Shillow at the Virginia Estates Apartments in Beaumont. Verdine appeared in a Jefferson County courtroom yesterday. Ronald Babino is serving a 22 year sentence and Joseph Freeman will be sentenced in November.
