An aggravated sexual assault of a child trial ended yesterday when the defendant, 37-year old Richard Lee Anderson withdrew his not guilty pled and entered a plea of no-contest. Following the plea, Judge John Stevens sentenced Anderson to 10 years in prison. He could of received up to life in prison if he would have been convicted. His victim was under the age of 14. A related charge of indecency with a child was dismissed as part of the plea agreement.
