Contract talks continue between Beaumont firefighters Local 399 and the city of Beaumont. The two sides met for a second time yesterday and did not reach an agreement. The union wants more time to look over the city’s offer of a 16% raise divided up of the next four years with 2% going towards the firefighter’s pension.
