The DPS is investigating an officer involved shooting in Jasper County. It happened Saturday night when deputies and Kirbyville officers were called to a home and when they arrived they saw a man and a 14 year old struggling over a gun. The suspect reportedly pointed the gun toward officers and was shot. He died at the scene.
