Two Juveniles In Custody For Brining Gun Onto Kirbyville Campus

Jasper County Sheriff Chuck Havard reports two juveniles are in custody after a gun was brought onto campus at Kirbyville High School this morning. The school was placed on a temporary lockdown during the incident. Sheriff Havard says earlier reports of an active shooter on campus were incorrect. The Kirbyville Police Department and Jasper County Sheriff’s Office are investigating.
