A man attempting to break into a vehicle just past 2:00 this morning is in the Jasper County is jailed after the homeowner held him at gunpoint until deputies arrived. It happened on FM 2246 in Evadale. 65-year old Anthony Andre Threatt was found to be in possession of items stolen from other vehicles in the area, including a handgun. Threatt told deputies he was stealing items to by crack.
