The Jefferson County grand jury has indicted a Port Arthur man for murder. 27-year old Najel Ray Hopkins is charged with the March 17th shooting death of Bobby Francios at the Prince Hall Apartments in Port Arthur. Hopkins, an off duty security guard, and Francios were involved in an altercation prior to the shooting. Francios died two days after the shooting at a Galveston hospital. In a related case, the grand jury indicted 23-year old Kenneth Tones for tampering with evidence. Tones is accused of removing several shell casings from the scene and taking them to an apartment.
