Beaumont police are investigating a fatality. It happened around 3:45 on the Cardinal Drive service road near Erie Street. A 4-wheeler pulling a trailer went through a stop sign and was struck by a pickup truck. One of the occupants on the 4-wheeler died at the scene, a second person on the 4-wheeler was transported to the hospital.
