An aggravated assault with a deadly weapon warrant has been issued on a Beaumont man. 39 year old Charles Leaven is wanted for Tuesday night’s shooting in the 2300 block of Poplar Street. Shots were fired into a home striking a woman in the face and hand. She was listed in serious, but stable condition. Police say the shooting is a case of domestic violence. Police are looking for Leaven.
