A bond committee has put together a $210.5 million bond package that will be presented to the Beaumont city council for recommendation. Some of the items on the bond include the extension of Dowlen Road, a new fire station, improvements at Tyrell Park, and improvements at the police station. As Mayor Roy West told us during his monthly visit to the morning show last week, the bond will be on the November ballot.
