Orange Police are requesting the public’s help after the headstone of Southeast Texas musician Clarence "Gatemouth" Brown was found vandalized once again marking the third time it has been destroyed at Hollywood Cemetery. Officers were called to the 1300 block of Simmons Drive around 11:30 a.m. on Thursday after reports of the damage were received. The repeated desecration of Brown’s gravesite remains an active investigation. Authorities are urging anyone with information to contact the City of Orange Detective Division at 409-883-1095.
