A woman that was involved in the injury of a Beaumont police officer outside of Little Woodrow’s in Beaumont has been placed on five years probation. 22 year old Melissa Bell interfered with Officer Andrew Fitzer during an arrest this past January. Bell must also take anger management classes.. Officer Fitzer suffered a severe head injury trying to stop Jamaysha Butler, who fled in a vehicle. Butler is awaiting trial facing multiple charges.
