A $500,000 bond has been set on a man that stole a SUV Tuesday night with a 3 year old child in it. 44 year old Steve Williams is charged with kidnapping, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, child endangerment and felon in possession of a firearm. Williams is accused of stealing the vehicle at a Chevron Station in Nederland and drove to Beaumont. The child was dropped off in the 1100 block of Campus. Williams was later arrested at an apartment complex in the 1100 block of Saxe.
