A Sulphur woman is in custody and accused of the fatal shooting of her one-year-old daughter. Officers responded after 8 p.m. on New Year's Day to the shooting at a home. Kristin Bass reportedly shot and killed Acelynn Moss, whose father prevented Bass from shooting their two-year-old daughter as well. Bass is charged with first-degree murder. Her bond set at $10 million. The Department of Children and Family Services has taken custody of the older girl.
