Testimony will resume this morning in the trial of a prominent Beaumont businessman charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. The weapon is his vehicle. Prosecutors says Walter “Loddie” Naymola’’s blood alcohol content was nearly three times the legal limit when he caused a multi-vehicle wreck on Dowlen Road in Beaumont. He faces anywhere from probation to up to 20 years in prison if he is convicted.
