A Texas man faces charges in two states after a high-speed police chase from Vinton across the Texas state line on Sunday. Louisiana State Police tried to pull the man over about 3 p.m. for traffic violations, but he took off. The suspect led officers on a chase at speeds of up to 100 miles per hour from Vinton through Sulphur before heading for Texas on I-10. After he crossed the state line, the suspect crashed in a parking lot in Orange. Troopers arrested Anthony Laughlin for evading arrest. More charges are expected in Texas.
