The Jefferson County grand jury has indicted a Beaumont man for murder. 34-year-old Thaddeus McCray is charged with the December stabbing death of 33-year-old Laqunita Edwards. Her body was found in the 600 block of Frint Road in the Tyrell Park area of Beaumont. That stabbing occurred in the 2400 block of Ashley. McCary is jailed under a $1.5 million bond.
