Two are in the Jefferson County Jail charged with murder. 25-year-old Javeon Blount and 28-year-old Demarcus Elam was charged with Saturday morning’s shooting death of 37-year-old Shameka Miller, of Arlington. Her body was found in her crashed car on Highway 73, near Veolia Road, Saturday morning. The victim was on the phone with a 911 dispatcher when she was shot. Blount’s bond has been set at $1.5 million. Elam will be arraigned this morning.
