A community in upstate New York with a long history of Bigfoot sightings may have yet another encounter to add to the list. A driver in the village of Whitehall reportedly spotted an enormous bipedal creature, measuring six to six-and-a-half feet tall, near a highway last Tuesday evening. The possible Sasquatch was described as a dark figure with wide shoulders and seemingly no neck. It was observed, the witness said, hopping over a guardrail on the side of the road.
According to local researcher Paul Bartholomew, the nature of the encounter is not altogether surprising. "This is actually a very typical type of sighting," he explained, "It's called a road crossing sighting." Also in keeping with potential Bigfoot events, the witness opted to remain anonymous for fear of being ridiculed, but did report his experience to Bartholomew and even took the researcher out to the site where some plaster casts were made of possible prints from the creature.
