A notoriously haunted mansion in Massachusetts has reportedly been sold to a group of owners who have big plans for the future of the spooky residence. Located in the city of Gardner, the S.K. Pierce Mansion was built in 1875 by a furniture magnate whose wife passed away shortly after the family moved into the home. In later years, the building served as a boarding house, where it has long been claimed that multiple people perished under strange circumstances, including one individual who was allegedly the victim of spontaneous human combustion. In recent years, the mansion has become a popular destination for ghost hunters, which is why some concerns were raised back in April when it was revealed that the spooky residence had been put up for sale.
