There’s an old saying that what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger, and that seems to be true of parenthood. A study of more than a million Swedes over several generations shows that parenthood boosts longevity long after the children are grown. According to a report in The Miami Herald, the researchers believe that people survive longer when they have grown children to rely upon.
