Many places require dogs to be leashed, but in South Dakota you also have to leash your snakes. Jerry Kimball said he took his 4-month-old fire bee ball pythons to Falls Park in Sioux Falls on April 1st for an impromptu "educational meet and greet" with curious members of the public. He was approached by an animal control officer after he set the snakes down in the grass for a bathroom break. Kimball says when he was told the animals had to be leashed he thought it was an April Fool's joke. He now owes two $95 fines for "animals running at large
