Couple Kicked Off Plane Over A Birthday Cake

In the latest airline unfriendly skies incident, a New Jersey family was kicked off a JetBlue flight two weeks ago because of a birthday cake. Cameron Burke, his wife Minta, and their two children were set to fly from New York to Las Vegas to celebrate Minta's 40th birthday, and they brought a birthday cake along with them. The family says they put the cake in an overhead bin and were told by a flight attendant to move it to another one, which they did, and then to the floor, which they also did. Another flight attendant came over, however, and reprimanded the first one, as well as the family. Burke said he went over to them and said everything was fine, but the second flight attendant told him, "Sir, this does not involve you," and said he'd been non-compliant. Burke says he then asked her if she'd been drinking, quote, "because her behavior was not normal."
