Facebook has crossed the two billion users threshold, announcing the milestone yesterday (June 27th). CEO Mark Zuckerberg said they reached two billion users early Tuesday, 13 years after the social network began and less than five years after reaching the one billion mark. Meanwhile, Facebook also said yesterday that it has deleted some 66,000 posts a week over the past two months as it cracks down on hate speech. The company said it plans to hire another 3,000 people in the next year to review posts, in addition to the 4,500 people it already has doing it.
