Drive Your Tractor To School Day

Tractor Ride

If you weren't aware, Drive Your Tractor to School Day is definitely a thing. Late last week the parking lot at Michigan's Fremont High School was filled with farm equipment for the school's annual day, which is 14-years running. At least 40 tractors filled the lot before classes even began, and officials say more tractors were parked outside the town's middle and elementary schools. Superintendent Ken Haggart says, "It's a celebration by the Fremont Public Schools of the farming community in which we live. It gives us an opportunity to recognize the importance of farming in our community." (UPI)
