Truck Spills Beer On Texas Highway


Beer will be needed at many Fourth of July celebrations this week, but some literally went up in flames recently on a stretch of Texas highway. The Texas Department of Transportation said all lanes of westbound Interstate 10 at Peach Ridge Waller County were closed Thursday afternoon (June 28th) when a beer truck caught fire in the roadway. Photos from the scene show severe damage to the cargo area of the truck and beer spilled on the road. The cause of the fire was unclear. Nobody was injured, but the road was closed for several hours for cleanup. (UPI
