Sink Hole Swallows Vehicle In Colorado

KLVI News

Cars are expensive, so it must be really awful to watch yours fall down into a sinkhole. One such hole opened up amid heavy rains on a Colorado road and swallowed an entire SUV. Witnesses caught the incident on camera, and the Sheridan Police tweeted a photo showing the Toyota RAV4 almost completely submerged in water at the bottom of the 15-foot-steep sinkhole Tuesday evening (July 24th) on Oxford Avenue in Sheridan. The driver of the vehicle was able to escape before the vehicle fell-- she was not injured. A sinkhole previously opened up at the same intersection in 2015.(UPI)
