Wreck it Ralph’s sequel, Ralph Breaks the Internet, is wreaking havoc at the box office in the best possible way. Ralph raked in $25.8 million in its second weekend of domestic release, for a $119.3 million 12-day total. Worldwide, Ralph has cleared $207 million. Still, Ralph posted a steep 54% drop, tempering the good news for the Sarah Silverman and John C. Reilly toplined sequel.
Universal’s The Grinch came in second with $17.7 million in sales. The Benedict Cumberbatch-starring film has now surpassed $200 million domestically.
The solo new wide release, Sony’s The Possession of Hannah Grace, opened with $6.5 million.
